BEC CONTEST 2020 TERMS & CONDITIONS

General Terms & Conditions

1. Important days and dates:
   • Pre-elimination : Friday, November 20, 2020
   • Semi-final : Friday, November 27, 2020
   • Grand Final : Friday, December 3, 2020
2. Business English Communication Contest 2020 consist of PUBLIC SPEAKING, BUSINESS DIGITAL DESIGN, BUSINESS PRESENTATION, and BE/BEC DOCUMENTATION.
3. To register, participant has to fill the registration form in http://bit.ly/BECContest2020registrationform
4. Contests are open for public, except BE/BEC Documentation Contest.
5. BE/BEC Documentation Contest can only be registered by the students in BE/BEC Program, UNM.
6. Public here is the student who is officially active in Diploma III/IV and
7. A participant can only send one piece of work.
8. The work has to be original, has never been used in other contests, and doesn’t contain violence, profanity, racism, and pornography. Any violation of copyright is the responsibility of the participant.
9. In the Grand Final, participants have to download and fill the “Lembar Pernyataan Orisinalitas”. The form has to be sent along with the final work.
10. All contests will be held online.

Public Speaking

1. Public speaking is an individual contest
2. This contest uses full English
3. Participant can send his/her recording video using mp4 format to publicspeakingbec@gmail.com (deadline submission is due on Nov 20 at 07:00 AM).
4. Maximum duration for the recording video is 3 minutes
5. The recording video must be audible and show participant’s physical appearance (half-body shown).
6. For Pre-Elimination, participant can choose one of the following topics:
   • “How to maintain your business during pandemic”
   • “ The most important lessons of my life during pandemic”
   • “ Being safe & healthy during pandemic”
7. Participants who will pass to Semi Final will be informed on 24 Nov. Grand final participants will be informed on 29 Nov.

Business Digital Design

1. Business Digital Design is an individual contest.
2. Participant can use any design application, and has to use English text, if any.
3. Participant can send his/her work using JPEG/JPG format on 20 Nov at 07:00 AM) to businessdigitaldesign.unm@gmail.com
4. For Pre-elimination, the topic design is “LIFE DURING PANDEMIC”
5. Participants who will pass to Semi Final will be informed on 24 Nov. Grand final participants will be informed on 29 Nov.

Business Presentation

1. Business presentation is a pair contest.
2. This contest uses full English.
3. The participant can send his/her recording video using MP.4 format to businesspresentationbec@gmail.com (deadline submission is due on 20 Nov at 07:00 AM).
4. Maximum duration for the recording video is 3 minutes.
5. The presentation video can be presented using any presentation tools and applications.
6. The presentation video must be audible and show participant’s physical appearance (half-body shown)
7. For Pre-elimination, participant can choose one of the following topics:
   • “ The Use of Digital Technology in Learning during Pandemic”
   • “ Business Opportunities during Pandemic”
8. Participants who will pass to Semi Final will be informed on 24 Nov. Grand final participants will be informed on 29 Nov.

BE/BEC Documentation

Terms

1. BE/BEC Documentation is an individual contest.
2. BE/BEC documentation can only be registered by students of BE/BEC Program, UNM.
3. Participant can only send one photograph using JPEG/JPG format to LombaDokumentasiBeBec@gmail.com (Deadline submission is on November 20, 2020 at 07:00 AM)
4. Documentation topic is “SELAMA STUDI DI BE/BEC”
5. The photograph can be in any situations, any interactions, and any poses while studying in BE/BEC Program.
6. The received photograph will be posted in IG be_bec_unm.
7. Participant must follow IG be_bec_unm and also has to encourage others to click “like” their photo in IG as many as possible by Wednesday, December 2, 2020.
8. The posted photograph which has the most “like” in IG will be the winner and will be announced on Dec 3, 2020. If draw, the result will be voted by the Jury in BE/BEC Program.
